PM Imran Khan Launches Yaran E Watan Program

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday launched the Yaran Watan program for Pakistani health professionals abroad where they can volunteer their services in the country during the coronavirus crisis.

On Saturday, the Prime Minister said in a tweet that Pakistani health professionals are at the forefront of the fight against the coronavirus around the world. He added that these health professionals want to help Pakistan fight COVID 19.

Dr. Zafar Mirza, Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, said that we have started the Yaran Watan program in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration and the World Health Organization.

He said the program would engage Pakistani healthcare professionals abroad by linking them to voluntary healthcare opportunities in Pakistani institutions and healthcare providers. Our Overseas Health Professionals is a patriotic initiative for volunteers who can now volunteer their services.
