The purpose of celebrating Tiger Force Day is to pay tribute to the young people who have volunteered for the Tiger Force during the lockdown caused by COVID 19 and have excelled.

The announcement was made by Prime Minister Imran Khan after a meeting with his adviser on climate change, Malik Amin Aslam. His Special Assistant for Youth Affairs, Mr. Usman Dar, was also present at his office in Islamabad.
